Benefits of walking regularly


Walking on a regular basis could decrease the occurrences of any unpredictable disease. Walking is considered as an essential type of exercise from the very ancient times. So, wouldn’t be it good if you commit yourself to some routine exercises? And if not, anything, then at least walking.
Effective brisk walking
 It is proven the scientific fact that regular brisk walking could decrease heart disease. Walking could use 60-70 % of heart rate and so it becomes a high chance of lowering of cholesterol and frequent heart attacks.  In previous times, people use to walk to their work place and so their health system remains good. Nowadays, we are seeking so much comfort zone that we often neglect the importance of exercising. We see it as a burden and wasting of time. One should understand that exercising is never a burden but a boon. It is the source of our ultimate happiness. Our fitness level determines our quality of life. When we are fit, we will obviously try to do everything rightly. When we are not getting time for intense exercise, we should at least engage in routine brisk walks.

There is casual walking and planned walking.  If we want to inculcate more walking benefits, then we must do 30 minutes planned walking regularly.  To increase our casual walking times, avoid using motor vehicles for covering shorter distances. In the workplace, we usually sit for a long time. This may deteriorate our health. Hence, one should try to take short breaks from work and walk some distance.  Sitting for long hours at the same place has proven negative consequences like obesity and stress.
Walk smartly
The manner of doing tells a lot about self. If we want to enrich ourselves with the maximum benefit of walking, then we must walk straight, with correct posture, hands kept free on our sides. We should avoid thinking anything to feel stress-free. To stop our mind from diverting unnecessarily, we could choose to play some light music while we walk. When our muscles are free and the mind is peaceful, then the body gets the most from a routine simple walk.   
When we walk, we live on a decision to stay healthy. Walking is no doubt, a very simple and effective way to stay fit and healthy.
